Once home to King Henry VIII and some of his many wives, Hampton Court is today considered the greatest palace in Britain. Situated by the river Thames, this Tudor palace offers a unique experience of the life of the English monarchy in the 16th century. The Garden Room
This flexible space allows a variety of set-ups for conferences, with the palace as the magnificent backdrop. Combine day conferencing with a dinner or reception in the palace. The Garden Room is also the only event space within the palace grounds able to host dancing – so it is a popular space for wedding receptions.
The Great Hall
Henry VIII’s court sat down to dinner here, daily, in two shifts, beneath the magnificent timber roof decorated with badges showing the initials of Henry and his beloved Anne Boleyn.
The Banqueting House
Designed for cool and pleasant evening entertainments, the Banqueting House today is still decorated with original wall and ceiling paintings of God and Goddesses by Antonio Verrio.
