Close to the borders of England and Scotland and to the Lake District, Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery is an important meeting point of the history, nature and art in one of Britain’s most fascinating regions.

Built in the 17th century, and situated in the heart of Carlisle, Tullie House is the ideal venue for conferences, business functions, weddings and special events. Steeped in cultural history this is an environment that brings a unique atmosphere to any event.

Up to 100 guests can enjoy dinner in the restaurant and receptions for up to 300 people can be held in the impressive Art Gallery or the underground Millennium Gallery.

The private garden is perfect for summer buffets and barbeques and entertainment.  The Victorian Lecture Theatre, with tiered seating for up to 100 is suitable for conferences, training events, lectures and presentations .A versatile Meeting Room is also available.

For weddings the Victorian Theatre with its impressive bridal entrance is ideal for formal ceremonies. For more intimate celebrations, the Morning Room can accommodate a wedding party of up to 30.
